Master Class Lyric Workshop from Universidad Carlos III

For the fourth consecutive year, the University Carlos III of Madrid and its cultural power showing movements, are strongly supporting it for the fascinating world of bel canto. The Lyrical-Master Class Workshop is an ambitious program, lasting one academic year, taught by professionals of the highest level.
Objective:
- Opera.
- The expertise of those students wishing to perfect their singing skills and knowledge lyrical operetta, song lyrics and opera.
- The approach to the medium stage by the performers, with the representation of bits and pieces at the Auditorio Padre Soler of the University and in other theaters.
- The dissemination of poetry in our society, especially in the university community.
Program: The Lyrical-Master Class Workshop is a program eminently practical in which students will work individually and in group representations, various selections from operas and repertoire Spanish lyric song and lied, participating along course, along with the rest of their peers in various concerts and staging of the adaptations. Students who demonstrate a higher level and greater use of the course may take part in the cast of a big production with the possibility of turning Zarzuela nationally and internationally. The assemblies will debut at the Auditorio "Padre Soler" of the university and work in both its vocal and stage musician. To promote a comprehensive education of students and to supplement the courses will be taught practical classes and lectures. The courses will be discussed matters related to the world of opera such as:
• History of Opera & Operetta
• A high production of opera or operetta.
• The stage movement
• CCCC anniversary of Monteverdi's Orfeo
• Current forms of song
• The aesthetics of opera music
• Emotional intelligence applied to singing.
• Custom Sheet and medical control the vocal apparatus
• Care and prevention of diseases of the vocal instrument
• relaxation and breathing techniques
• Characterization and theatrical makeup
• History of lyrical phenomenon
• Operation of theaters, concert halls and cultural sponsorships ...
At the end of the program, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
will award the participating students a diploma expressed in
number of hours taught.
